Dorothea and I were thrilled to receive your message regarding plans for the class of 64 reunion. We thank you so much for thinking of us and for your efforts to find out where we are at the present time.
We would dearly love to be present at the reunion and renew our friendship with students and faculty whom we have not seen for more than thirty-five years. Unfortunately, we are filling a church assignment in South America, in the country of Ecuador to be specific, and expect to be here for two more years, which will make it impossible for us to be present.
We do hope you will keep us informed as plans progress and more people are found. It was great to review the list of names listed on the web site and recall with great fondness particularly those who chose to suffer through Spanish classes for several years.
I do hope you will list our names on the web site with our home and e-mail addresses. It would be wonderful to hear from any who might have the time to send us a note.

We live in the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador, which is the largest city of the country and the main seaport and business center. It is located a short distance from the equator and at sea level, so you may have an idea of the hot and humid climate which exists year-round. We, however, live in air conditioned comfort and life is good.
Please extend our greetings to all who may be located and to those who attend the reunion. We will be with you in spirit.
With much love and appreciation,
Dorothea and Lynn Shawcroft
